A Public Affairs Analyst, Hon. Isaac Ilukhor (JP) has urged the immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole not to derope himself to contest for any elective position especially the Edo North Senatorial Seat in 2023.
Hon. Ilukhor made this known at the weekend in Fugar in an interview with select Journalists.
According to him, Comrade Oshiomhole did credibly well as a former Labour leader in Nigeria and in Africa at large, stressing that the former Edo State Governor made indelible marks for himself in his career.
He added that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole should maintain the respect he had from the NLC. He stressed that as a former Governor, he did excellently well in his first tenure and his performance Caterported him to second tenure where he scored 18/18 .
He reiterated that Comrade Oshiomhole has made successful Politicians Vis- a- Vis Ambassadors, Ministers, Commissioners, Senators, House of Representatives members and local Government Executive Chairmen that will be loyal to him forever and that any attempt or pressure on him to put himself forward for elective position in Edo North will be disastrous for him like a crack of Cards.
He noted that Oshiomhole should be cautious of the Axe of the Political match.
His exact words ” Oshiomhole should honour himself by remaining as one of the APC National leaders in Edo State . The temple today is beyond his level. Let him (Oshiomhole) maintain his God’s given status in politics . Let him remain in Edo North as a father and a respected leader that he is. He has made many people that are high in Zenith positions today both in Politics and in different fields of human endeavours.
He added that Comrade Oshiomhole is an Encylopedia of Politics in Nigeria particularly in Edo State. God has so favoured him. He has made his own blueprint. He did credibly well even beyond expectations.
Hon. Ilukhor (JP) maintained that as at today, non of Oshiomhole’s Predessesors and Successors has been able to achieve his erudite boldness in delivery democracy dividends. He touched every nook and cranny of the State. The records are there. He did better in performance both in human and infrastructural development and above all he provided the best security to the people of the State.

There are rumours that the former Governor is eyeing the Senatorial Seat come 2023.
