The Edo State Government has uncovered pipeline vandalism in Ekperi, Etsako Central Local Government Area.
A joint task force, led by Joseph Okonigene, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Pipeline Surveillance, alongside Eugene Okoloise, MD/Coordinator of Edo State Protection of Government Properties, and Michael Anetor, Commander of the Government House Special Task Force, visited the scene.
The task force condemned the economic sabotage, noting that the damage was extensive.
Suspects were arrested and taken into custody for further investigation. The government will prosecute those found guilty.
This operation demonstrates the government’s commitment to protecting its infrastructure and resources.
