The African Cup Of Nations is still underway as different teams continue to compete for the AFCON trophy. The AFCON round of 16 officially key started today, and the Super Eagles of Nigeria happens to be playing against Tunisia tonight.
The Tunisian team took the lead in the 47 minutes of the second half after a poor goalkeeping by the Super Eagles goal keeper, Okoye Maduka.
However, during the second half of the match, there were some poor decisions made by the Referee and the Video Assistant Referee, VAR.
The Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi has given a red card in the 65 minutes of the second half, after he stepped on a Tunisian player.
After some review from the Referee from the Referee review area, he sent Off Alex Iwobi for the foul tackle. This decision made by the Referee and the VAR was indeed the worst decision in today’s match.
. The foul by Alex Iwobi was an unintentional act, as he was trying to get hold of a ball ghat was passed to him by his teammate.
