Our attention has been drawn to a publication on the medium chrisosamedia.com with the title “Ikpoba Okha APC Endorse Crosby Eribo For House Of Representatives, Seek State Leaders Support”.
In the said publication, the author claimed that “four persons were nominated on behalf of the LGA, two leaders and one of the ward chairman who also happens to be chairman of all chairmen in the local government”
For the avoidance of doubt and purposes of setting the records straight, *we wish to clarify that the Exco of the Ikpoba-Okha APC did Not endorse Hon. Crosby Eribo,* we did received him warmly same way we would have received any intending politician within the All Progressives Congress APC, who signifies their interest to contest for any position on the platform of our party.
We advise that in future before publishing stories of this nature, _journalists and bloggers should please endeavor to reach out to our party executives for confirmation to avoid inadvertently misinforming the public_ .
We enjoin the good people of Ikpoba-Okha to keep supporting the All Progressives Congress APC as we seek to provide strong leadership for our people.
