The presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has won the presidential election in Jigawa State.
The Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, announced this on Monday morning at its headquarters in Dutse, the state capital.

Announcing the presidential result, collation officer Prof. Arma Ya’u Jamisu Bichi said the presidential candidate of the ruling APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu, scored 421,390, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of the NNPP scored 98,234, Atiku Abubakar of PDP got 386,587 and Peter Obi of the LP scored 1,889 votes.
He stated that the APC won the presidential election in Jigawa by a slim margin of 34,803 votes over the PDP.
He stated that the total number of votes cast is 954,805, the number of valid votes is 92,531, and the number of rejected votes is 34,274.
The total number of registered voters is 2,341,041, with 961,670 of them being accredited.
