Born in the 1980s into the family of Late Pa Abu Akhigbe (Also known as Abuteteku) in Osomhegbe Ekperi village, Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State, Young Akhigbe Oghenoagwe was enrolled to begin his primary education at Akugbe Primary School, Osomhegbe.
After successfully concluding his primary education in flying colours, he was later admitted to further his secondary education at Ekperi Grammar School, Ugbekpe Ekperi. Although, due to some circumstances beyond his capabilities, he later wrote his West African Senior Certificate Examination (WASCE) in Aforachi Community Secondary School, Kogi State.
As a child who is hungry for modern education, he got admitted into Auchi Polytechnic and graduated with Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering. He later went further to obtain his B.Eng, Civil Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt.
Voracious Engr Akhigbe Oghenoagwe pushed further to obtain his Masters in Engineering in Environmental Engineering at the prestigious University of Port Harcourt. He is also a certified Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Levels 1 to 3 officer.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Having gotten a hand full of educational qualifications with quite interesting and sound record of second class upper division at the prestigious University of Port Harcourt, he was privileged to serve a few companies and enterprises. These are,
1. Time Gate Nigeria Limited, an oil servicing firm in Lagos from 2006-2008 were he served satisfactorily as a Project Engineer.
2. From 2009-2011, his services were engaged as a Project Manager in Harjokes Limited located in Bayelsa State.
3. Anet Technology Limited, located in Bayelsa State, thereafter, employed him as a Project Manager from 2012-2013.
4. Fortunately, as hard work and diligence will always pay off, he is the present MD/CEO of Mayfrance Global Resources Limited til date.
HIS POLITICAL VOYAGE
Engr Akhigbe Oghenoagwe began his political journey at a very tender age from his higher institution days, were he served the students community of Auchi Polytechnic meritoriously as a House of Representative Member of the department of Civil Engineering. He was also a former Senator in same institution for the department of Civil Engineering before he left the four walls of the higher institution.
In circular politics, he was a one time Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Edo State.
As a young political pedal cum mobilizer, he was the National Publicity Secretary of Nigeria Youth Movement (NYM) that mobilized, galvanised and wooed massive supporters for Atiku in the 2019 Presidential elections.
AS A PHILANTHROPIST
Engr Akhigbe Oghenoagwe had paid enrollment fees for several indigenes across Etsako Central LGA as well as tuition fees for many students in various tertiary institutions.
Engr Akhigbe Oghenoagwe is very concerned in assisting the aged with view in bringing joy to their lives.
Engr Akhigbe Oghenoagwe is known as a man with uncommon heart of cheerfulness as he has continually supported many in paying their house rents, hosting of sensitisation programs in bid to keeping the masses updated with modern information.
Engr Akhigbe Oghenoagwe had paid hospital bills for many individuals, supported Anti-Natal programs for many pregnant women financially and had put smiles on many faces across the state and beyond.
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
He is a chronic lover of sports in general and leather game in particular. However, his major game in life is putting smile on people’s face.
*Engr* *Akhigbe* *Oghenoagwe* is happily married with children and he is a respected member of two professional bodies which are,
1. Nigeria Society of Engineers (MNSE) as well as,
2.Council For The Regulation of Engineering In Nigeria (COREN) Certified.
He is an ardent, convinced and devout Christian. As a man of unshakable faith in God, he has his family enshrined in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
