..As Nigerians in Diaspora Donate Building, Bill Boards , Others.
Ahead of 2023 general Elections, the candidate of Labour Party for Akoko-Edo House of Representatives, Engr Omobayo Marvelous and Peter Obi Presidency received a major boost recently as some progressive Nigerians in diaspora begin to associate with the Marv-Obi project.
Pastor Michael Onaivi, the convener of Marv-Obi Solidarity Movement in Akoko_Edo LGA told the PlatfornNews.Com that a prominent Chief in Edo State , High Chief OFARIGA Charles Femi Oba, a Nigerian business man and philanthropist resident in Europe has donated his building, Da Hilltop Suburbia, a relaxation spot and youths rendezvous as part of his support to Labour Party and Engr Omobayo. The building which is located at the heart of Lampese Town in Akoko-Edo LGA of Edo State according to Onaivi, ” it will serve as not just a Secretariat to Labour Party Ward 3 but also as campaign Headquarters of the Marv-Obi Solidarity Movement in Akoko-Edo”.
In a chat with OFARIGA , The Great, he said, “I’ve never openly supported nor endorsed any politician in Nigeria but for the young Omobayo and Mr Peter Obi, I will give an arm to see them succeed in the interest of the ordinary Nigerian people”
This donation is coming on the heels of the donation of several mega billboards accross Akoko-Edo facilitated by Prince Augustine Ademola Daudu, an America citizen and Elite Officer of the United States Airforce who during a Video conversation said “the need for a deviation from the status quo and change the narrrative in the Nigerian polity must not be under played”. He revealed that he would do everything within his powers to support Engr Omobayo Marvelous to prove to the Nigerian youths that nothing is impossible if we stick together to do the right thing at the right.
Speaking with an elated Engr Omobayo Marvelous recently in his office in Benin City , he said “I was astonished and emotional by the gesture because neither of these persons know me in person nor have we ever crossed paths in anyway and yet just by the recommendation from others, they keyed into the project and movement for a better Akoko-Edo without any prompting”.
Speaking further, Omobayo stated “my calling in life is to be the ladder for others to grow with me and I have been consistent in this direction but I wish to do more through adequate and people oriented representation at the green hallowed chamber in Abuja with the support of my people”
He added that his only interest in politics is to provide better life for his people by promulgating legislations that will provide sustainable development that would enhance the speedy growth of the LGA and a better life for Nigerians in general and Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency in particular . 
The convener of Marv-Obi Solidarity Movement in Akoko_Edo LGA, Pst Mike Onaivi thanked Prince Augustine Ademola Daudu and High Chief OFARIGA C.F. Oba profusely for their invaluable contributions to a worthy cause and assured them that Omobayo would not disappoint them. He also promised to relate this awesome donations to the state Chairman of the Labour Party Mr Kelly. He called on other progressives both home and diaspora to emulate the duo by keying into the project “TAKE BACK AKOKO-EDO, TAKE BACK NIGERIA” by emulating the pace set by OFARIGA and Prince Augustine by supporting this laudable movement in whatever way they could for a better prosperous Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency and her people.
