It was indeed a momentous occasion and a privilege given unto us by the Almighty God to witness today’s Walimat-Celebration of Memorization and Recital of the Glorious Quar’an at the Arafat Mosque in Auchi Sacred Kingdom. It was a successful outing.
I heartily rejoice with all the Reciters in this year’s Walimat-Celebration. No doubt, the memorization of the Holy Qur’an requires commitment and seriousness. I salute and commend their determination to memorize the Holy Qur’an which has enabled them to participate in this very important occasion. I encourage you all not to relent in your study
On behalf of our institution, I specially congratulate HRH, Alhaji Aliru H. Momoh, (Ikelebe III) the Otaru of Auchi on the occasion of the Walimat-Celebration of Complete Memorization of the Glorious Quar’an by his son Hafiz Mumin Aliru Momoh. He is on the part to a glorious future.
I am also convinced that the unity, harmony, understanding, cooperation and brotherhood displayed during today’s occasion by all irrespective of religious affiliation will be sustained across Auchi, Edo State and the nation at large.
I thank the Honourable Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, HRH Alhaji Aliyu Kevin Danesi (Aidonogie of South Ibie Kingdom), Ogiega of Three Ibie Clan, Alhaji Jubril Bamaiyi Momoh, Sheikh Suleiman Momoh (Takobi of Auchi Sacred Kingdom) and everyone for making the occasion a successful one. I urge all staff and students of Auchi Polytechnic to continue to accommodate other peoples’ religious and ethnic affiliations and imbibe the spirit of tolerance.
