Just like it can upset a parent when a son is calling on the father to help do what he can do for himself, it also angers God when we begin to call him on issues we can fix ourselves…..God gave humans brains so we can make use of it and allow him to rest on issues that require us to make use of the Brain..
” For those of us who keep saying ” . . . Let’s
keep hoping on God for a better Nigeria . . .
” . . . And for many of us who keep disturbing
God on the social, political and economical
maladies of Nigeria, i’ve got a few words for
you; Hope without action is an illusion. If the
biblical Israelites were Nigerians, believe me,
by now, they would still remain in Egypt.
Because, they wouldn’t have taken action
against the King Pharaoh led administration.
Let me categorically state here that, i believe
God is a discipline Being.
I believe He will never
play our role for us. I believe He helps only
those who help themselves. Let us serve
ourselves the bitter wine of truth; The hope
for a better Nigeria is uncertain because, the
The labourers of this hope are few. And either you concor with me or not, my truth remains that; the vast majority of the masses of our land are still comfortable with their poor social, political and economical situation and not willing to end their unproductive romance with their slave masters And until the vast majority of the masses become solidly determined to take their destiny in their own hands, Nigeria will remain in an hopeless state…
The citizens are still very much in love with their chains , they joyfully rejoice and with excitement sing the praises of those who deliberately carved them out from the map of development, they celebrate those who have denied and still denying them access to transformational information, just to manipulate and control their future …
It is a sad reality that in Nigeria the Tormentors are being celebrated and defended by the Tormented while the Liberators are being ostracized and Judged by the same people they fight to set free…it is sad to say that the TALAKAWAS(masses) are still so much in love with their chains and willing to kill any supposed enemy of their slave masters.
There is an opportunity again in 2023 to place Nigeria on a higher pedestal among the community of advanced and prosperous countries..if this opportunity is bastardised by the same masses with their own hands , then the voracious demands for a new and better Nigeria will just be a wishful wish…
Retrospectively, anytime I think of how we have missed it in the past and how we are fully prepared to miss it again, I lament in agony as hope Elude my face…
In conclusion, I stand boldly to say, the desired solution can only become a reality when the Tormented end their unholy and unproductive romance with the Tormentors .
When an injury to one becomes an Injury to All….then there is hope that Uhuru will be Achieved.
