The All Progressives Congress, APC, has inaugurated it presidential grassroots engagement and Orientation campaign committee in Edo state.
The committee comprising of members from Edo were inuagurated in Benin city, Edo state capital by the South South Director, Hon Margeret Ichibor on Friday.
Speaking at the inauguration, Hon Margeret said she was delighted to welcome Edo Chapter of Tinubu Shettima 2023 campaign council of the Grassroot Engagement And Orientation directorates, urged the team to commence house-to-house campaign for Asiwaju Hola Tinubu/Senator Kashim Shettima presidency, saying the duo symbolises competence.
She said the platform is to engage people from our state with the aim of building and sustaining an all inclusive participation of Edo people from the Grassroot during and after the electioneering process.
While thanking all the those who have encouraged and nurtured her in her political journey said, they will start from door to door, to units and ward levels across the state. We are determined to deliver 80 per cent of Edo votes for Asiwaju. I know you are all ready to deliver victory for APC presidential candidate. I want to admonish you to work assiduously in canvassing support for Tinubu who has the capacity in delivering good governance. she added.
