Chairmen of the eighteen local government councils of Edo state have been asked to ensure that their handover notes are ready to be submitted to the most senior civil servant in councils by Friday, March 5, 2021.
This notice was released by the Edo State Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs in Benin City on Tuesday.
The letter signed by the “Functioning” Permanent Secretary, Princess (Mrs) M.E Jos Bazuaye, and made available to AfemaiReporters, reads in parts; …… “to request that all local government councils chairmen are to handover the administration of the 18 local government administration to the Head of the Local Government Administration (HOLGA) in their local government councils on Friday 5th March 2021”.
Recall that the 18 local government chairmen took the oath of office in March 2018.
