The long political morass observed as a result of the February 25th presidential polls appears to be over, as President Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has now congratulated Peter Obi of the LP for actually winning the election.
Buhari made this call to the LP presidential candidate in the late hours of yesterday, listing the conditions under which he would hand over power to him. He stated that as the true winner of the election, his conscience no longer allows him to sleep, so he has decided to do the right thing by going against his party, the INEC, and hand over power to Obi.
