Winner of the Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency Re-run, APC’s Chief (Dr) Billy Famous Adesuwa Osawaru has been presented with his Certificate of Returns at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)Headquarters in Abuja,
This is in fulfillment of the provision of the electoral law, INEC guidelines, and an affirmation as the duely elected member of the Federal House of Representatives.
He was ably accompanied to the INEC headquarters by Rt. Hon Dennis Idahosa, incumbent member Representing Ovia South West and North East Federal Constituency , who was equally re-elected for a second term in office on 25th February, 2023.
Speaking to journalist after the presentation of certificate of returns ceremony, the ecstatic Member Elect, Chief (Dr) Billy Osawaru expressed gratitude to God for the victory at the polls and also thanked very profusely, APC party National, State and local government leaders, the good people of Orhionmwon/ Uhunmwode Federal Constituency for the Confidence reposed in him and for voting for him and his party, the APC.
He promised not to disappoint with the confidence reposed in him as he will do his best possible in offering quality representation to his people, State and Nation at Large.
He said his desire to serve at the parliament has been a dream which he is glad that God has made it come to pass.
Chief (Dr) Billy Famous Adesuwa Osawaru was declared winner of the House of Representatives re-run election by the INEC Returning officer on Saturday 15th April, 2023 after pulling the highest number of Valid votes cast.
