NYAN Deputy Speaker, Amb Udomoh Showers Encomium On Redeem Christian Church Of God, Christ Hill Chapel, Lagos Province 13

The National Deputy Speaker of the National Youths Assembly of Nigeria, (NYAN), Amb. Benjamin Udomoh Emmanuel has praised the Redeem Christian Church of God, Christ Hill Chapel, Lagos Province 13, for providing medical relief for her members through the provision of an HMO to be fully paid for by the church.

While it is the primary responsibility of the government to provide certain basic social amenities such as roads, hospitals, schools, pipe borne water, electricity and other utilities, we can however agree that individuals and cooperate organizations can help ease the burden on the government by helping in areas they can and this overall makes life easier.

In the light of the above, today, the Redeem Christian Church of God, Christ Hill Chapel, Lagos Province 13, wowed me when the Senior Pastor, Pastor Moses Anjorin, announced a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) scheme for all members.

An HMO is a network or organization that provides health insurance coverage for a monthly or annual fee. An HMO is made up of a group of medical insurance providers that limit coverage to medical care provided through doctors and other providers who are under contract with the HMO.

According to Amb. Benjamin Udomoh Emmanuel, with this laudable basic social service provided by Christ Hill Chapel, Lagos Province 13, members can now enjoy free medical treatment of any kind without having to worry about who pays the bills. Guess what, it is not the usual one day medical scheme, this one has come to stay, one can only imagine the relief this will bring to members at a time when people can barely afford medical care.

We all can do our little bit to compliment the efforts of the government, it makes life easier and a better place for all of us.

I’m therefore calling on other Churches to find certain areas that their members and even their host communities can benefit from, key into such areas and render such services as much as their finances can afford.

Christianity is all about love, especially showing it in practical terms.
