Teachers, Students Of National Institute of Construction and Management Technology Regain Freedom

The staff and a student of the National Institute Of Construction And Management Technology, Uromi Edo state, who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen a few days ago, have been rescued.

The staff, Miss Uzoaku Onyemaobi and the student Miss Elizabeth Anyim were rescued by security agents in the forest in the locality.

A statement by the institution’s Public Relations officer, Nchor Edward Ejesi and spotted by Standard Gazette crime correspondent Festus Alenkhe commended the relevant agencies who gathered intelligence that ensured that they were rescued unhurt.

The statement further said, “Congratulations to the management, staff and students of NICTM, Uromi Edo state for the freedom of the kidnapped persons”.

The Public Relations officer said, “To the Glory of God, the kidnapped staff and student have been rescued”, the statement said.
