The Supreme Court has begun hearing the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) and Labour Party’s (LP) challenges to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s election.
The supreme court began with the Atiku/PDP case being summoned and attorneys announcing their appearances.
Justice John Okoro, who authored the main judgment in Atiku and the PDP’s appeal, is currently reading it.
The court has elected to first decide the merit of the motion filed by Atiku and the PDP to supply fresh evidence (the documents from Chicago State University) in support of their appeal.
