Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhikhe Extols Workers’ Dedication On International Workers’ Day

On International Workers’ Day, the former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and a former APC governorship aspirant in Edo State, Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhikhe commended the dedication and hard work of Nigerian workers.

In his message, Dr Umakhikhe recognized the vital role that workers play in the development and progress of the country. “Without the tireless efforts of our workers, Nigeria would not be able to function and thrive,” he said. “It is their commitment and passion that keeps our economy moving forward.”

The former governorship aspirant noted that workers in both the public and private sectors deserve to be celebrated and appreciated for their contributions. “Our teachers, healthcare workers, civil servants, and laborers are the backbone of our nation. They show up day in and day out, often under challenging circumstances, to ensure that essential services are provided and that our country continues to grow.”

Dr Umakhikhe urged Nigerians to take time on this special day to thank the workers in their lives and communities. “Let us honor their sacrifice and dedication. Nigeria’s success is built on the hard work of our workers, and we owe them a debt of gratitude.”
