The Edo PDP Campaign Council has praised the Benin Monarch, Oba Ewuare II, and the people of Edo state for the successful repatriation of stolen royal stool artifacts from Germany.
In a statement, the council’s Director General of Media and Publicity, Rev. Olu Martins, described the repatriation as a significant event, not only for the restoration of Edo’s rich cultural heritage but also for the recognition of the historical and artistic importance of the Benin Kingdom.
The council expressed its delight at this milestone achievement, which they believe will contribute to preserving and showcasing the state’s cultural identity on the global stage.
