Dr Umakhikhe Felicitates With Muslims On Eid Al-Kabir Celebration

Former permanent secretary in the ministry of agriculture and rural development and former APC governorship aspirant, Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, has felicitated with Muslims in Edo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid Al-Kabir.

In his message, Dr Umakhihe described the Eid Al-Kabir celebration as a significant event that symbolizes obedience, sacrifice and charity. He urged Muslims to use the opportunity to reflect on the virtues of the Islamic faith and to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity.

The former governorship aspirant also called on Nigerians, irrespective of their religious affiliations, to embrace the spirit of togetherness, peace and harmony that the Eid Al-Kabir celebration represents.

“As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, I urge all Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of sacrifice, charity and peaceful coexistence which the Eid Al-Kabir symbolizes. Let us use this opportunity to foster unity, understanding and tolerance among our diverse communities,” Dr Umakhihe stated.

He further wished all Muslim faithful a happy and fulfilling Eid Al-Kabir celebration, and prayed for God’s continued blessings and guidance for the nation.
