Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the leader of APC in Edo state yesterday hosted a triumphant reception for party members and leaders of Orhionmwon Local Government Area (LGA) in his hometown, Iguododo. The event was organized to celebrate the landslide victory of the APC in Edo governorship election.
The chairman of the organizing committee, Amb Terry Igiebor, expressed confidence and gratitude to God and the people of Orhionmwon for their unwavering support and unity. He assured the members that the APC’s governor Elect, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, would deliver on their campaign promises.
Comrade Julius Akonze, the APC chairman in the LGA, also expressed profound appreciation to the party members and Pastor Osagie for spearheading the event. He emphasized that the gathering provided an unparalleled opportunity to celebrate and strengthen the unity of the APC family.
Speaking to reporters, Pastor Osagie radiated joy and gratitude for the overwhelming support from the party members. He confidently urged them to continue in steadfast unity, stating that the party had promised the people of Orhionmwon that if they voted massively for the APC, the party leadership would come and celebrate the victory together.
Several esteemed party leaders, including NDDC commissioner Rt. Hon Patrick Aisoweren, former EDHA member Hon Chris Okaeben, Chief David Adodo, Dollar Bill graced the occasion among others.
