Obaseki’s Certificate Forgery: What You Should Expect In Today’s Court Ruling

The hour of decision is here, the much-anticipated ruling of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja over Obaseki’s Certificate Forgery would deliver judgement today by 12 Noon.

The past few weeks have seen lots of fireworks between the counsel to the PDP Ken Mozia SAN and that of the APC Akin Olujinmi SAN. It was indeed thrilling, educating, and an eye-opener.

The bone of contention here are discrepancies Obaseki allegedly tendered to INEC and the APC in 2016 and 2020.

For the past few weeks, the media has been abuzz with the fireworks between both parties.

The APC closed its defence after calling 6 witnesses and submitting 17 Exhibits, the PDP, on the other hand, closed its defence after calling 3 witnesses and tendering its exhibits to the court.

LOL please be patient we arent no judges, by 12 noon today the judgement would be announced and one party must carry the day.

But this is what is expected whichever way the victory swings.

This is a court of the first instance and the other party has a right to appeal. Immediately after the judgement is served whoever does not get the blessings of the court would proceed directly to the Appellate Court for an appeal.

As a matter of fact, the case would always end up at the Supreme court irrespective of the ruling of today.
