Edo Commissioner for Education, Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, Rewards Student with N300,000 for Outstanding JAMB Score

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu, has gifted a cash prize of N300,000 to Oshawo Ephraim, for his exceptional performance in the recently concluded Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination. Ephraim scored an outstanding 368, one of the highest scores recorded.

Acknowledging the achievement, Dr. Iyamu praised Ephraim’s academic excellence, describing it as the result of focus, discipline, and a strong commitment to learning. He emphasized that such a remarkable performance deserves to be recognized and rewarded, as it serves as a powerful motivation to other students across the state.

The Honourable Commissioner noted that academic brilliance among young people should not go unnoticed, and that it is important to create a culture where excellence is celebrated. Oshawo Ephraim, who expressed his gratitude, stated that he intends to study Computer Science at the university.
