The Acting General Manager of the Edo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (EDSAA), Ambassador Destiny Ebagua, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Christian faithful across the state, calling on them to embrace love, unity, and Christ-like living as they commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his Christmas goodwill message, Amb. Ebagua described the season as a time of deep reflection and gratitude, noting that the life and teachings of Jesus Christ serve as a guide for building a peaceful and harmonious society. He stressed that the values exemplified by Christ—compassion, humility, forgiveness, and sacrificial love—remain essential for strengthening community bonds and promoting collective progress.
“Christmas is a season of joy, a season that reminds us of God’s love for humanity. As we celebrate, let us commit ourselves to living out the virtues that Christ embodied—showing kindness to our neighbors, forgiving one another, and promoting unity in our families and communities,” he said.
He urged residents of Edo State to use the festive period to foster stronger relationships, extend goodwill to the less privileged, and cultivate an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. Amb. Ebagua also emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence, noting that unity is the foundation upon which development and social stability are built.
The Acting General Manager commended the efforts of religious bodies, community organizations, and state institutions for their contributions toward sustaining peace across Edo. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Edo Signage and Advertisement Agency to upholding professionalism, ensuring effective regulation, and supporting government initiatives aimed at building a more attractive and orderly environment.
Amb. Ebagua concluded by wishing all Christian faithful a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year, praying that the season brings renewed hope, continuous blessings, and a deeper commitment to Christ-like virtues for the advancement of Edo State.
