APC Debunks Claim Of Pastor Ize-Iyamu Promising To Pay N200million Professional Drivers On Wheels

The attention of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Edo State, has been drawn to a spurious and ridiculous claim by one Mr Adams Ehigiamusoe aka Shaba that its candidate in the 2020 governorship elections, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu promised to pay N200million to the Professional Drivers on Wheels in the state.

The said Mr Ehigiamusoe who addressed a press conference in Benin City, to peddle this outright falsehood also claimed that Pastor Ize-Iyamu was hijacking the party congresses in State.

However, the APC wish to place on record, the fact that at no time before, during and after the campaigns leading to the election did Pastor Ize-Iyamu promise to pay Mr Ehigiamusoe or his group the sum of
N200million or any other amount of money for that matter. Pastor Ize-Iyamu is also not involved in the conduct of the ongoing party congresses as he claimed.

Undoubtedly, Mr Ehigiamusoe’s allegations are visible signs of a frustrated man who is also hallucinating as his deliberate falsehood can only pacify his paymasters who are sponsoring a smear campaign, which is bound to fail, to cover up their failures.

Signed
Victor Ofure Osehobo,
Assistant State Publicity Secretary
Edo APC
