‘Why I Wanted To Be The Next Tiwa’ – Uriel

Reality TV star, Uriel Oputa, has reminisced on her past experience when she auditioned for Nigerian Idol, thinking she was going to be the Next Tiwa Savage.

The BBNaija star, shared a post via her Instagram, going down memory lane of when she nurtured the idea of becoming a music star just like Tiwa Savage.

Uriel chased after her dreams of being a music superstar by auditioning for the popular Nigerian singing competition.

Her post on Instagram stirred a lot of reactions, as some people found it funny when she revealed that, after she put her whole mind to singing thinking she was going to win the judges over, unfortunately for her, things did not go quite well as she had thought it will be, as she was turned down by the judges during the audition stage.

According to her, after the rejection she went home and treated herself to a nice meal, as she did not let the rejection get to her.

She wrote: ‘’This picture I thought I was going to be the next Tiwa until I heard thank you very much for coming. I kept my eyes closed until I reach yard. After I made hot egusi with poundo I drank two fantas, bought 1 egg roll without egg.(the missing egg no be my fault, nah onions I see inside).

‘’Chai the next audition that year they come give me wild card. I refused to go home wetin be wild card biko? Who is wild here?. I refused to go until production attended to me. How can you people give me wild card ? I was well behaved I even wore my church shoe.

‘’That shoe can bend someone’s toe, you know the kind of shoe that will make you sweat eh Ah. The kind of shoe that will make you hug fence like fence be your Boyfriend. That shoe God punish that shoe and it’s Gold buckle. Thank God I gave that shoe to my cousin. The day she wore it she called me and said. Why now wetin I do you.
