A Benin Man Whose House Was Allegedly Demolished On the order of a Benin Chief Priest Demands Justice

Mr. Osazee Igbinakenzua, an indigene of Edo State working in Kaduna , he managed to purchase a plot of land measuring 100 ft by 100 ft in 2013 situated at Okhuoromi Community, Oredo Local Government Area and commenced development immediately. He laboured very hard to develop it to roofing level.

On the 20th day of January, 2022, He came from Kaduna State where he resides to roof his house so that he can relocate his family to Benin, only to discover that the house has been allegedly destroyed on the order of the Chief Priest.

The said Mr. Osazee Igbinakenzua led some people to the scene where the demolition took place for fact finding, to the dismay of all, some youth from the said Community allegedly attacked the people and seize the Human Rights Tv Microphone and have refused to return it the owner.

The Traditional Institution and Edo State Government should protect the developers that are buying land in Edo State. The Government cannot do it all alone.

We want to join Mr. Osazee Igbinakenzua to demand justice.

The land grabbing demons involved in the sacrilegious act should be made to face the full wrath of the law unless they are protected by Section 308 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
