Rotary club of Auchi metropolitan installed her 16th President today the 4th of September, 2021.
The event which held at Lecky Convention Center & Hotel, Auchi saw Rtn Treasure Ani Ekhoegbe installed as the club’s 16th President for the 2020/2021 rotary year.
The event had dignitaries from far and near in attendance including former Chairman of Etsako West local government, Pag Yakubu Musa (MD).
High point of the event came when various recipients were presented with befitting awards in recognition of their contributions towards the advancement of humanity.
Among the awardees was Comrade Yakubu Abeni Azeez, National President of Abeni Azeez Support Initiative (AASI). Represented by Hon. Peter Adokhuru who is the Zonal Coordinator of the Non-governmental Organization. Azeez was awarded Humanitarian Service Award.
Recall that recently, Comrade Yakubu Abeni Azeez was awarded with ‘Nobel Achievers Merit’ award by SAG Entertainment.
Receiving the award, Hon. Peter thanked rotary club for recognizing his boss, reassuring them of his continuous apt readiness to always contribute his quota towards the advancement of humanity. Presenting cash award to the club, he wished them well in their service to humanity and pledged Comrade Yakubu Abeni’s unalloyed delight to keep partnering with them in every positive development.
