The rector of Auchi polytechnic, Dr Salisu S Umar has congratulated Nigerian Children on the occasion of children’s day celebration.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Dr Umar wrote:
On the occasion of the International Children’s Day celebration, I want to express our commitment to ensuring that Nigerian children have access to education, healthcare, and other necessities. This much we are demonstrating in our preparatory schools at the primary and secondary levels.
The importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop into healthy and productive members of society cannot be over emphasised. I urge all stakeholders to rally support and resources for greater investment in programs and initiatives that benefit children, and urge policymakers and community leaders to prioritize the needs of children in their decision-making. I celebrate all our children for the important role they play in our lives. It is my hope that we can all work together to create a better future for them.
