The management of Auchi Polytechnic on Friday, 2nd December 2022, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tenec’e, a foremost ICT Solution firm, on the provision of broadband Internet services on our campuses.
This partnership is aimed at revamping Internet service access across the Polytechnic campuses as this will help make possible, seamless staff and students accessibility to online services.
The institution believe such enhanced Internet access will bring about the facilitation of online engagements like e-payments, e-Learning, access to learning materials, lecture notes, journals, videos, and countless online resources.
The signing of the MoU has become necessary as the need for internet services in an educational institution of our standing cannot be overemphasized. It is also coming at a time, when we need to widen our scope of research, as well as enhance the resourcefulness, and skill sets of our staff and students.
You will recall that, access to the internet will in no small measure, contribute to better visibility for our academics thereby shoring up our overall ranking and rating among educational institutions globally. Such cutting edge technology will help drive our quest to be a major global player in educational service provision.
I salute the team from Tenec’e led by Ernest Ogbodo, Head Networks and Operations for what has been achieved so far. It is our believe that Tenec’e will deliver excellently on the Memorandum of Understanding signed as a lot more than envisioned will be achieved given their pedigree of provision of ICT solutions across a number of educational institutions in Nigeria and across some African countries.
