It gives me great pleasure today to be at the launch of Auchi Polytechnic’s bakery and Restaurant. This is an exciting moment for all of us as we witness the culmination of a lot of hard work and dedication from the staff and students of the Department of Food Technology as well as our esteemed partner, Mobiluxe.
I would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of the Dean of the School of Applied Sciences and Technology, Dr. Efosa, John Osarenren and Head, Department of Food Technology, Dr. E. Odion-Owase. Their commitment to ensuring that our students receive the best possible education and training in the field of food technology has been truly commendable. I am confident that the bakery and restaurant will be a testament to our resolve to merge theory and practice.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to our partner, Mobiluxe, for their support and collaboration in making this project a reality. Their expertise and resources have been invaluable in helping us to create a state-of-the-art facility that will provide our students with hands-on experience and practical skills that will prepare them for successful careers in the food industry.
As we celebrate this milestone, let us not forget the ultimate beneficiaries of this project – our students. I hope that they will take full advantage of this opportunity to learn and grow, and to become the next generation of innovative and skilled professionals in the field of food technology.
Once again, congratulations to everyone involved in this project, and I look forward to seeing the bakery and restaurant thrive and flourish in the years to come.
