Barely few hours to the presidential primary of All Progressive Congress, (APC) scheduled to hold tomorrow June 6th 2022, the Edo North All Progressives Congress (APC) has been embroiled in a fresh crisis over “fraudulent” delegates’ list allegedly manipulated by the former governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to the National Working Committee (NWC) to enable him fixture Himself against the original list.
Recall that, Oshiomhole emerged as Edo North APC senatorial sole candidate.
AfemaiReporters gathered that the new Delegates list was changed yesterday night with the help of the state working committee of the party in Edo state.
According to anonymous source who pointed out that the former governor has no right to alter the delegates’ lists without following due process and the party Constitutions.
Prior to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primaries elections and how money where lavishly given to delegates, he fixtured himself to benefit from the APC presidential primaries.
The sources added: “We make bold to say that the so-called National delegate lists presented to the party by the State Working Committee Members of the party was based on a poorly scripted skit comedy shot by the State Chairman of the party and his co-conspirators.”
The sources called on the NWC to ignore the fraudulent delegates’ list and follow the already existing delegate lists sent to the National Secretary dated the 17th day of May 2022, being the date the National delegate election took place at various 18 Local Government Areas of Edo state
