The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Bayero, escaped an attempt to attack him by an unidentified man who tried to hit his car.
According to an witness who spoke to SAHELIAN TIMES said that the incident happened when the Emir was going back to his palace around Zaria road, in Kano.
The suspect has since been apprehended by the police. However, the motive of attack was not immediately clear. Police are yet to make announcement about their findings.
