BREAKING: Major Setback For Ighodalo As APC Empty PDP In Uzea Community

In the latest twist in the Edo gubernatorial election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has made significant inroads in Uzea Ward 6, Esan North East Local Government Area, as it harvested over 100 members from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The decampees, led by Lucky Ogbede and Peter, expressed their dissatisfaction with the PDP, stating that they had supported Godwin Obaseki in the last election but were neglected despite the promises made to them.  They claimed that Obaseki had neglected them despite the promises made during the last election. The decampees also alleged that they had received a sum of 1 million Naira each, which was promised for the empowerment of 10 Uzea youths, but they had never seen the money.

Speaking at the event, the APC governorship candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, who is also the Edo central, hailed the people of Ward 6 for their support. He assured the newly defected members of equal opportunities and promised to transform Esan land. Okpebholo pledged to provide a hospital, employ teachers, offer loans to farmers, resolve security challenges, and ensure the availability of portable water in the community.

The former governor of Edo State and senator representing Edo North, Comrade Adams Oshiomole emphasized that Okpebholo is a known figure in Esan land, having lived, worked, and built a house there, unlike the PDP candidate who is perceived as a mere consultant. The people of Edo North have endorsed Okpebholo, and he is confident of their unwavering support in the upcoming election.
