Former Governor of Edo state and Edo North Senatorial candidate of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole on Saturday received Hon. Ojo Asien into the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chris Osa Media reports.
Asien, a Special Adviser on Political matters to Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, defected alongside thousands of supporters at Owan west where Comrade Oshiomhole, Mr. Abu Millionaire, and other leaders of the APC in the zone were present to receive them.
“Speaking, Asien said: I want to pledge my unalloyed uncompromising loyalty to the APC leadership, I have taken time to study the political history of not just Owan west but the entire Edo North, and I have come to realize that if you are not in the main stream you are lost and lost forever , that is why I deem it necessary to quickly find myself , if you’re rescued by the intervention of God, it will take the grace of God for you to understand what God has done in your life. I thank my thousands of supporters for believing and coming with me to the APC” as stated by Asien.
Comrade Oshiomhole then welcomed the former SA to Obaseki into the APC folds, congratulating him with his followers.
