At least one person has Reportedly died in a Saturday evening Robbery attack on a Popular Petrol station in Akure, the Ondo state capital city, Nigerian cable news online has gathered.
Tt was gathered that the Armed Robbers struck at around half past 7:00pm at Damorotex petrol Station, located along Oda road, Akure.
According to an Eyewitness, the four gunmen stormed the petrol station with two motorcycles.
The robbers, it was also gathered, shot sporadically into the air before entering the station’s office and carted away an undisclosed amount of money.
One person, a staff of the station was Reportedly killed in the process.
However, another eyewitness said no life was lost during the robbery incident.
Spokesman of the state Police command, Tee Leo Ikoro is yet to confirm the incident
