According to ABS News Network, two young men, an Okada rider and his Passenger have sustained gun injuries in the early hours of Thursday between old Union Bank and Setraco Junction, along Warrake Road, Auchi.
Eyewitnesses say a black Lexus vehicle without a number plate sped by and opened fire on the duo.
They say although both the Rider and his Passenger were hit by bullets on the leg and arm respectively, no life was lost in the seeming attempted ass@ssination.
The Okada rider who is believed to be a Northerner is currently receiving medical attention while the whereabouts of his Passenger is at the moment unknown (as he reportedly ran away from the scene as soon as the incident happened).
