Chief Bisi Idaomi’s Foundation Kicked Off: Gives Revolving Loans To Petty Traders [PHOTOS]

Chief Bisi Idaomi’s foundation has commenced the distribution of N1m naira revolving loan amongst men and women who are involved in petty trade and sales of goods & services in Erhurun Uneme communisty in Akoko Edo LG of Edo state. Chief Bisi Idsomi is a frontline politician, former House of Assembly candidate, social crusader & entrepreneur and a legal icon.

Those who benefitted from the loan scheme are about 50 persons in various businesses which include; Open market stalls, Restaurants, Drinking shops, Tailoring stores, Barbing Saloons and Hairdressing saloons.

Beneficiaries were selected from what petty business is obviously on the ground and tangibly seen by all and sundry. The distribution which was closely monitored and supervised by one of the highly dignified elites and benefactors in Erhurun Uneme, Mr Shaibu Ademola-Ekha witnessed an unprecedented ordeliness devoid of grudge and political coloration.

Addressing the large audience which gathered to witness another in the series of Chief Bisi Idaomi’s philanthropy, Mr Shaibu Ademola said, “today we are gathered here to share a revolving loan of N1m amongst our small scale village business persons. Let me say here that as we share this money for the beneficiaries, they are not expected to pay interest on it. But we are going to do it in a way that it will become a scheme that will continue to go round amongst our village business people. We are giving beneficiaries 6 months as you all had agreed to use this money to turn around your business after which you return the money for another person to benefit. We urge and advice all of you to use the money judiciously so that it can continue to get to others who are also into businesses like you are. We appeal to all of you to always keep Chief Bisi Idaomi in prayers so that God Almighty shall keep and provide for her in this course of generosity”. Chief Bisi takes the shoes of her late Father Chief Olorunfemi Obune Idaomi the Okpodalo of Central Uneme who was known for his philanthropy when he was alive. A man whose memory has refused to be erased by all mitigating circumstances”

A widow beneficiary Mrs Kenneth Blessing said, ” I really give thanks to God today and also Chief Bisi Idaomi for the rare privilege of being counted among the persons who benefitted from this huge generosity. I have been in this village married and the type of life style I see Chief Bisi display here is that of godliness and utmost passion for the less privileged in this community. I am grateful for her kindness and wish to say that the money will make a difference in my business. May God be with her”.

Another beneficiary who is into Hairstyles Mrs Oluwatoyin Alexandra Abraham said,”I am really happy and grateful at the gesture of Chief Bisi Idaomi. She has over time demonstrated her deepest concern and passion to uplift the lives of the downtrodden in this community. Our prayers for Chief Bisi is for God to increase her both in wealth and health as we believe in her ability and willingness to makee life pleasurable for the masses”.

And lastly two local and loyal political harbingers who also benefitted from the revolving loan scheme Madam Tina Agbadun and Madam Tina Momoh have this to say, “we cannot say enough of Chief Bisi Idaomi’s goodness and kindness. We have been with her and if we start to reel out what she has done for us we may not not leave here today. Just briefly Chief Bisi Idaomi is God-sent benevolent woman who God will continue to bless and give long life”.
