Late Chief Okafi Erewele, a Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, has been described as a peace lover and bridge builder. Mr Osaze Imasogie, the leader of the APC in Uhunmwode Local Government Area, paid tribute to the late former Commissioner of Education, describing him as an elder statesman who dedicated his life to promoting unity and understanding.
“Chief Erewele was a man who always sought to bring people together, regardless of their differences,” Imasogie said. “He worked tirelessly to promote unity and understanding among all the people around him.”
Imasogie also commended Chief Erewele for his dedication to education, noting that he played a key role in improving the quality of education in Edo State during his time as commissioner.
Imasogie expressed his condolences to the family of Chief Erewele and urging all members of the family to honor his memory by continuing to work towards peace and unity.
