Convention: Ex APC National Vice Chairmanship Aspirant Jarret Tenebe Quits Contest, Backs Blessing Agbomhere For South South Zonal Organizing. Secretary

A former All Progressives Congress (APC) National Vice Chairmanship Aspirant in South South and Edo Deputy State Chairman’of the Party, Mr. Jarret Tenebe, has formally withdrawn from the contest.

This was made known to newsmen on Monday in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Mr. Elias Inaede.

According to the statement, the decision of the notable Politician to withdraw from the race was as a result of the zoning of the position to Rivers State and being a loyal party man, Mr.Tenebe, decided to jettison his dream of becoming the National Vice Chairman of the party in South South Region in the interest of the Party.

In a related development, Mr. Jarret Tenebe has endorsed the candidacy of a former Governorship Aspirant in Edo,, Chief Blessing Agbomhere for South-South Zonal Organizing Secretary.

He described Chief Agbomhere as a committed party man who has contributed immensely towards the progress and advancement of the APC not only in Edo, but in the entire Region.

The Edo APC Deputy State Chairman, said, there was need for unity of purpose to build a more united and Progressive party that will sustain the achievements recorded so far by the APC led Federal Government.

The party Chieftain expressed the confidence that Chief Agbomhere will provide the needed leadership if he emerges as the Zonal Organizing Secretary.

While soliciting for support and cooperation for Agbomhere, Mr. Tenebe asserted that the Zonal Organizing Secretary hopeful has garnered a lot of experience over the years of his foray into politics that would enable him to enhance the fortunes of the party in the region.

The APC National Convention is fixed for this Saturday 26th March, 2022 according to the time-table released by the National leadership of the Party.
