Sophia Momodu, the first baby mama of Nigerian music sensation Davido, has filed a comprehensive 102-paragraph affidavit opposing his request for joint custody of their daughter, Imade.
This comes after Davido initiated a lawsuit just days before his traditional wedding, alleging that Sophia was denying him access to their child and extorting money from him.
Sophia’s legal team, led by Dr. Anthony Idigbe SAN of Punuka Attorneys and Dr. Bimpe Ajegbomogun, has fired back with a detailed response, refuting Davido’s claims.
According to Sophia, she and Davido had an affair from 2020 to 2022, while he was still in a relationship with Chioma. She denied allegations of denying him access to Imade, stating that Davido had never attempted to see their daughter and had abandoned her after she refused to engage in sexual relations with him.
