A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, has congratulated the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on his outstanding achievements as he marks one year in office.
In his goodwill message, Dr. Umakhihe described Governor Okpebholo’s first year in office as a period marked by purposeful leadership, people-oriented governance, and remarkable developmental strides across all sectors of the state.
He commended the Governor for his visionary approach to governance, which has brought renewed hope to Edo people through pragmatic policies, infrastructural renewal, improved security, and the revitalization of critical sectors such as education, healthcare, and agriculture.
According to Dr. Umakhihe, “Governor Monday Okpebholo’s administration has, within just one year, demonstrated what true servant leadership represents. His commitment to transparency, inclusiveness, and accountability has rekindled the confidence of Edo citizens in government.”
The APC chieftain further applauded the Governor’s collaborative engagement with traditional institutions and his unwavering efforts toward restoring the pride and dignity of the Edo people both within and outside the state.
He expressed optimism that with the same zeal and determination, Governor Okpebholo will consolidate on the foundation already laid to ensure sustainable growth and prosperity for Edo State.
Dr. Umakhihe concluded by praying for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Governor as he continues to steer the affairs of the state toward greater heights.
