In a ceremony held on Saturday at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Alausa, Lagos, Dr. Jerry Osamede was conferred with a Doctorate in Economics by the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria.
The event, which featured other graduates, marked a significant milestone in Dr. Osamede’s academic and professional journey.
Notably, Dr. Osamede was among the awardees at the 16th Conferment of Professional Fellowship Doctorate (PFD) and ICP Convocation, alongside Stella Okotete.
As a United Nations Peace Ambassador from Siluko Town in Ovia Federal Constituency, Dr. Osamede expressed gratitude to God Almighty and his beloved parents for their unwavering support.
He said His new title will undoubtedly further enhance his contributions to economic development and peacebuilding efforts, inspiring others to strive for similar accomplishments.
In his remark, Dr.Osamede lauded Senator Monday Okpebholo for his impactful leadership style, characterized by a focus on community service, humanitarian efforts, and a commitment to inclusive governance.
