The Commissioner for Education Dr. Paddy Iyamu has felicitated with the children of Edo State, promoting this year’s national theme, “Stand Up, Speak Up, and Build a Bully-Free Generation,” alongside the state theme, “Children: Our Future, Our Responsibility.”
In his congratulatory message, Dr. Iyamu underscored the importance of every child in Edo, emphasizing that the well-being and future of each child matter significantly.
He urged parents and guardians to actively protect their children, fostering environments that discourage bullying and encourage safe expressions of individuality and creativity especially as it relates to cultism and other vices
Dr. Iyamu assured the children that the government, under the leadership of Senator Monday Okpebholo is committed to ensuring that every Edo child has the opportunity to thrive based on merit rather than connections.
He encouraged the children to believe in themselves and their potential, reinforcing a message of hope and resilience.
