Edo 2024: Group Endorses Agba, Asuen For Governor, Deputy

Ahead of Edo 2024 governorship election, Groups under the aegis of Wazobia Movement has endorsed the minister for state for Budget and National planing, Prince Clem Ikhanede Agba, and the Edo oil magnate, Hon Valentine Owamagbe Asuen as their preferred Candidates for governor and Deputy governor.

The decision was made at the end of a meeting that lasted over 8 hours in Benin city the Edo state capital on Wednesday, the group appealed to the minister to declare and contest for the governorship election with a promise “to come our en-mass to campaign and mobilize and sensitize its members to nominate, campaign and vote for the duo for the development and transformation of Edo state.

Spokesperson for the group, alhaji Hamid idris mallam Zachary told journalists that their preference for Prince Clem Agba and Hon Valentine Asuen Popularly known as DVD are “in view of their political steadfastness Competence , philanthropic gestures unlike other politicians who Don’t have the interest of the people at heart ”

The group noted that among all Political heavy weights in the state Prince Clem Agba is well known for his developmental strides in the state as minister and he enjoys the goodwill of his people due to his commitment towards the development of Edo state.

Mr Zachary said , “We, the Wazobia group with over ten thousand(10,000) registered members residing in Edo state hereby appeal to Prince Clem Ikhanede Agba and Hon Valentine Owamagbe Asuen DVD to declare and contest for the Edo 2024 Governorship Election as governor and Deputy governorship candidates and we are endorsing the duo of Prince Clem Ikhanede Agba for Governor and Hon Valentine Owamagbe Asuen for deputy due to their Competence, steadfastness and selfless service to humanity.

Wazobia Group is a Non Governmental Organization aimed at Uniting and Promoting the Political Interest of Non Edo Indegins In Edo state.

The grouy also printed campaign posters in support of Clem Agba and Hon Valentine Asuen
