The All Progressives Congress (APC) has raises the alarm on massive inflation of results for the supplementary election for the Ovia South West State Constituency results of the election conducted on Saturday.
The party’s chairman in the Local government, Hon. Emmanuel Ogbomo raised the alarm following outcry by agents and supporters of the party in areas were the elections were conducted.
Ogbomo particularly made reference to that of the result from Open Space by AT&T Yard, Nikhorogha, were the ruling in the State, PDP, brazenly manipulated the figure that came out of the unit in their favour.
He said same were the situation in those units they think they can muzzle everybody.
“This they (PDP) do with the aide of the security agencies, especially the Police.
“To show the level of their desperation, they changed the Open Space unit result at Nikhorogha from 31 to 431 at the ward collation center level. This is the same polling unit that the APC had won with 58 votes against the initial 31 votes scored by the PDP.
“We are using this medium to appeal to INEC to call their staff managing the election here in Ovia South West to order,” he said
