Member Representing Edo State in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC Rt.Hon. Patrick Aisowieren has concluded plans to appoint 24 Special Assistants (SAs) from Orhionmwon Local Government Area to help harness human potential and achieve effective surveillance of the commission’s projects across the state.

In a statement released to his admin a few days ago, the Edo NDDC henchman said he is eager to raise the bar on the performance of the interventionist agency in the state hence his interest to invest in monitoring and evaluation of projects executed by contractors.

“Part of the job description of the SAs will be to identify areas of critical needs that will require the intervention of the commission and have them budgeted for.”

He promised the state to expect a different approach to the administration of the commission in Edo as he wish to ride on the renewed hope mantra of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to showcase the full capacity of the NDDC in human capital and infrastructural development.

The former lawmaker and renowned lobbyist said he understands that Edo people have set a high stake for him following his track record in previous constituency representation, and promised not to lower his bar as there is more to be done than what has been done, particularly as it affects the state.
