The Private Personal Assistant to Prof. O. B. Osadolor, Mr Valentine Uyi has reacted to the publication circulating rounds the social media first published by one Chris Osa Media titled “REVEALED: Why Obaseki Fired Prof. Osadolor As AAU Acting VC”‘.
In his response, he told our correspondents that the reporter is reporting based on assumptions. My Principal till this very minute has never granted an interview or responded to any questions or suggestions as to why he was relieved of his job at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma by our governor.
As such, the report should be trashed because nobody is trying to join issues with anyone here, he asserted.
Uyi continued by saying his principal till this very hour does not have any issues or reaf with the state government. He was graciously appointed as ag, VC without any form of lobby by the state governor, he also has the power to appoint another without the permission or approval of anyone and the governor may as well have other better plans for my principal because he has done well. We can boldly say he has repositioned the University on the part of progress with the period he served as ag. Vice-Chancellor he added.
In the State Government Public Announcement dated 9th February 2022, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, the government did not state any sin or reasons for relieving Prof. O.B. Osadolor of his job as the ag. VC. In fact, an appreciation message was also conveyed through the statement to Prof. Osadolor for his service.
Prof. Osadolor has received the message in good fate, he has returned to the University of Benin to continue his service.
