The Commissioner for Environment and Sustainability, Hon. Nosa T. Adams, has extended warm Christmas greetings to Edo residents, urging them to reflect on the message of love, unity, and peace, while also maintaining harmony with the environment.
In his message, Hon. Adams stated that Christmas is a time to appreciate the gift of life, family, and community. He urged residents to show love not only to one another but also to the environment by keeping their surroundings clean, avoiding harmful practices, and protecting nature.
“The message of Christmas is rooted in love and selflessness. Let us embrace one another with kindness and work together for a cleaner, greener, and more peaceful Edo State,” he said.
He commended communities that have actively participated in environmental clean-ups, tree-planting initiatives, and climate awareness programs throughout the year. According to him, unity and collective action are essential for sustainable development.
As families celebrate, Hon. Adams encouraged them to extend support to neighbors, especially the vulnerable. He prayed that the season brings renewed hope, peace, and environmental consciousness among residents.
