The All Progressive Congress (APC) Edo South Senatorial Candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Hon Valentine Owamagbe Asuen and his Support Groups yesterday paid a condolence Visit to the family of late musical maestro, legend and a national icon, Amb. Osayomore Joseph at his residence.
Hon Valentine Owamagbe Asuen while addressing the family expressed how saddened he was by the news of the demise of their father who was also a father of Nigeria/Edo indigenous music industry and citizens by virtue of his numerous songs that is laced with wise nuggets which he grew up listening to and served as blessings and a guide to him
He enjoined them to be strong in this moment of grief and be consoled by the fact that their father lived a good life. He affirmed Late Amb. Osayomore Joseph’s good legacy and how he impacted lives hence everyone of them should strive to sustain and possibly surpass their father’s good legacies.
Hon Valentine Owamagbe Asuen assured the children and family of the late musical icon that he is strongly with them at this trying times and will gladly obliged them in case of any support. He prayed for the eternal repose of the soul of our departed Father in the bossom of the Almighty.
Responding on behalf of the children, Mr Igho osayomore thanked Hon Valentine Owamagbe Asuen and his Support Group for the visit saying they are strengthen by the show of love and prayed God bless and grant them their hearts desires.
Highlight of the visit was the signing of the condolence register opened in honour of the departed Legend.
