How Edo CP Allegedly Witnessed The Shooting Of APC Supporters At Benin Airport Without Doing Anything [VIDEO]

In a startling revelation, the youth leader of the APC in Edo State, Mr. Tony Kabaka, has alleged that the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Funshoho Adegboye, and the Deputy Commissioner of Police supervised the shooting of APC supporters, leading to the killing of Senator Monday Okpebholo’s police orderly and the serious injury of others.

Recounting the incident, Kabaka stated that before the attack, he had met with the Commissioner of Police and the Deputy Commissioner at the VIP lounge of the Benin airport. During this meeting, he informed them that thugs loyal to the Edo State government had gathered at the exit gate, shooting sporadically. However, the Commissioner of Police, instead of taking immediate action, was reportedly busy receiving calls and moving from one spot to another, ignoring the threat.

Kabaka further claimed that the APC members had come to the airport to welcome their governorship candidate, Senator Okpebholo, and the reinstated Deputy Governor Phillip Shaibu, and they had no intention of engaging in any conflict. He asserted that the Commissioner of Police should have called for reinforcement to disperse the thugs, but he failed to do so.

Kabaka has vowed to release videos that will corroborate his allegations if the Commissioner of Police denies the claims. He has also called on the Inspector General of Police to intervene, as he believes that Governor Obaseki and his thugs are bent on killing APC members in Edo State.

This development has further heightened the political tensions in the state, with both sides accusing each other of orchestrating violence and undermining the democratic process.
